On average, women live with ill health for a greater portion of their lives than men. That’s why NHS Herefordshire and Worcestershire has launched its new Girl’s and Women’s online Health Hub across the two counties.
The core focus of the new Health Hub is to improve access to essential women's health information, enhance the overall patient experience, and ensure that care is delivered in the right place, at the right time.
By streamlining access to information and resources, the hub will help to reduce barriers to care, promote early detection, and ultimately contribute to better health outcomes for women and girls across the region.
The new dedicated area brings together different topics on women’s health, enabling women and girls of all ages to access important information about their health easily that can support them at every stage of their lives.
The easy to navigate pages, provide information on a range of health issues including menstrual health, pregnancy and maternity care, sexual health, menopause and cancers.
Dr Louise Bramble, GP and Women’s Health Lead for NHS Herefordshire and Worcestershire said: “NHS HW identified the need to improve access to women's health information and services.
“That’s why I’m incredibly proud to launch the Girls' and Women's Online Health Hub.
“With this new online resource, our goal is to empower women and girls to take control of their health by providing them with the knowledge and resources they need, when they need them."
