Our people are our greatest asset as an integrated care system across Herefordshire and Worcestershire. Our valuable staff are the cornerstone in the delivery of excellent health and care provision, and as such, we need to fully develop them. Developing our people also includes how we invest in identifying the talents and skills of our existing staff, as well as those in our pipelines for the future. Our trailblazing ICS Academy provides a ‘one-stop’ place for us to make multi-professional decisions in the investment of our people development activities. This includes a set of Faculties and enabling functions. We are on the journey in establishing this, which also includes a ‘one-stop-shop’ digital platform called the ICS Academy Exchange, which will hold a central repository of information, toolkits, resources and access to system-wide training, education and personal development offers all in one place.
