Checking your breasts or chest regularly helps you learn what looks and feels normal for you. It helps to make it easier to notice any changes.

Everyone should check their breasts or chest about once a month.

Check your breasts for:

🌸 A lump or swelling in your breast, chest or armpit

🌸 A change in the skin of your breast, such as dimpling (it may look like orange peel) or redness

🌸 A change in the size or shape of one or both breasts/either side of your chest

🌸 Nipple discharge (if you’re not pregnant or breastfeeding), which may have blood in it

🌸 A change in the shape or look of your nipple, such as it turning inwards or a rash on it (it may look like eczema)

🌸 Sores or ulcers on your chest

You can sign up for a monthly text reminder to check your breasts
