Campaign Overview: People are being asked to think about their antibiotic usage. If used excessively or inappropriately, antimicrobials (including antibiotics) become less effective. This is because bugs and bacteria develope a resistance to the medication. This campaign is aimed at the public, with key guidance on when and how to use antibiotics.
