Home for Christmas

Campaign Overview: Home for Christmas is a seasonal extension of the the Home For Lunch campaign that's been running for the past 18 months.

Research shows prolonged hospital stays can have a significant negative impact on someone’s physical and mental health. Home is often the best place for recovery, while reducing the risk of exposure to other illnesses, and improving flow and bed availability throughout the healthcare system. 

Health and care partners across Herefordshire and Worcestershire are supporting this initiative by making sure families are aware of this and are able to support their loved ones in returning to a home that is ready for them.
